Han Qunli
Director of the Integrated Research Programme on Disaster Risk (IRDR) and Professor at the International Research Center of Big Data for SDGs (CBAS)
Han Qunli, Executive Director of the Integrated Research Programme on Disaster Risk (IRDR) and Professor at the International Research Center of Big Data for SDGs (CBAS). His main duty is to lead and mobilize researchers to implement the global research agenda for risk-informed sustainable development and planetary health, established by IRDR, International Science Council and United Nations Office for Disaster Risk Reduction in 2021. Han Qunli worked for UNESCO during 1989-2017, and served in different positions including expert in environmental sciences, UNESCO’s representative in Iran and Turkmenistan, Director of Ecological and Earth Sciences Division and Secretariat of Man and the Biosphere Programme (MAB).
