Mr. Nobuyuki Nakano has extensive industrial and investment experience and now serves as the Chairman and CEO of Kyulux, an innovative OLED light-emitting material start-up company in Japan. Mr. Nakano received his Master of Science degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology School of Business in 1991. After graduating from the University of Tokyo with a degree in aeronautics, Mr Nakano joined ITOCHU Corporation. For approximately 22 years, he has been involved in the aerospace industry, including positions in the company's U.S. Aerospace Division. In 2005, Mr Nakano assumed the position of President of Rohm Semiconductors America. Mr Nakano led the company to a turnaround in 2006 after years of losses following the bursting of the IT bubble in 2001. He transformed ROHM into a growth company with significant sales and profit growth until his departure in 2012. In 2014, he joined Innovation Network Corporation of Japan (now INCJ) as an Executive Officer and Managing Director, where he provided investment practice and management support to companies listed on the first section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange and venture capital firms.
