Vrajaindra Upadhyay
S K Dey Chair Professor, Institute of Social Sciences, New Delhi; former Professor and Head, Department of Humanities and Social?Sciences, Indian? Institute of Technology Delhi; former member of the Steering Council of the World Association of Political Economy.
Vrajaindra Upadhyay currently serves as the S K Dey Chair Professor at the Institute of Social Sciences in New Delhi, India, and previously held the position of Head of the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences at the Indian Institute of Technology and Member of the Steering Council of the World Association of Political Economy. He obtained his doctoral degree in 1985, specializing in global political economy, development economics, and the Indian economy. He has published over 100 articles in renowned journals in India and internationally. In 2021, he published "Global Political Economy: A Critique of Contemporary Capitalism".
