On Oct. 17, ZGC Forum "Brain Science and Future" parallel forum was smoothly held at Meeting Center of Zhongguancun Exhibition Center. Zheng Huanmin, Deputy Director of Beijing Science and Technology Commission and Xuan Hong, General Manager of Zhongguancun Development Group attended the forum and made a speech on the opening ceremony.

The forum was hosted by Zhongguancun Development Group and jointly undertaken by Chinese Institute for Brain Research, Beijing, Zhongguancun Life Science Park and Association of Brain Imaging. 11 domestic and foreign famous experts and scholars including Cheng Heping, academician of Chinese Academy of Sciences, Gao Jiahong, President of the Organization for Human Brain Mapping, SYLVAIN BAILLET, President of Canadian Research Institute of Neurodynamics of the Brain System, etc. were invited to bring a feast about brain science and the future with international vision and brand new angle to the participants.

 Zheng Huanmin, Deputy Director of Beijing Science and Technology Commission, mentioned that brain science, as a hot field of international science, has been deployed as a strategic commanding point in China in recent years. As early as five years ago, Beijing started special plan of brain science. In 2018, Beijing Brain Science Center was established for better serving national layout, establishing a mutual cooperation platform for life scientists and AI experts in Beijing, China even the world, integrating global intelligence, and studying brain science and brain-related issues.
